DESCRIPTION:The 71st annual Appalachian Underground Corrosion Short Course will take place May 12-14\, 2026. \nThe three-day Short Course provides high-quality presentations on the practical and theoretical aspects of the causes and prevention of corrosion on underground structures. Specific topics include instrumentation\, corrosion surveys\, cathodic protection\, pipe coatings and various methods of corrosion control. \nThe course is designed for personnel whose work requires a practical knowledge of underground metallic corrosion and covers both fundamental and advanced treatment of corrosion control subjects.
